My brother Dean (pictured above with a night time load of striper bass) and I were introduced to fishing by our dad, who owned a 26' cuddy cabin. After working for years on the local DEEP SEA FISHING Party boats for Scup (porgy), sea bass and Tautog, we decided to get our charter fishing boat to bring clients out on sportfishing charters. Striper Bass fishing has always been our passion. Three boats and many sportfishing charters later, we bought the Atsakeepa Too, and could not be happier with our charter fishing boat selection.
The Atsakeepa Too is perfectly suited for fishing our local waters. It's big enough for offshore charter fishing and allows us plenty of maneuverability to fish the "rips" for Striper Bass and Bluefish. There is also plenty of room for deep sea fishing for scup (porgy), sea bass and Tautog ( Blackfish) . We also needed speed to get to our local charter fishing areas quickly and safely. With a 24kt cruise, the majority of all our charter fishing locations are less than 50 minutes away. Striper bass and bluefish fishing charters, as well as all deep sea fishing charter trips early season are less then twenty-five minutes from the dock.
It's our mission to have our clients catch fish and have fun. We won't take you on an extended boat ride. We cater to the novice fisherman, as well as to seasoned veterans. We enjoy bringing families out for a day of quality time. The fishing methods we use on our charter fishing boat change as the season progresses.
We encourage our sportfishing charter quests to use the lightest tackle to maximize the enjoyment and fishing experience. (Jigging, bait fishing [live and dead], trolling, and plugging are all used with great success.) Spinning gear with dead bait and light line is our favorite means to catch big Striper Bass and Bluefish. All fishing gear as well as bait for deep sea charter fishing will be supplied. If you want to bring your favorite rods/reels/lures along feel free.
